I was thinking that we should get together someone time late this month (April) Sound good??? Any reccomended places to meet at??

Hopefully we can get more people soming out. Well, maybe it wont be as COLD this time and we wont have to gather around Cole's (the_fox_man4) heater...

Do you know of any drag strips around our area?

 

Nearest one to me is Rockfalls. In Wisconsin.

 

Darn thats to far just to run the 1/4 mile. We need some good strips up here in Mn.

 

There is a track in Sabin which is in the Fargo area, also Brainerd has a track. Don't know when they open or have events but I could find out.

 

I'm in for a get together. Next weekend is the Gopher State Car show at the Fair grounds.

There is a Champs on silver Lake road and 694 that has a pretty big parking lot. I wouldn't recommend burnouts but it does have a killer 1/2 pound burger and great rasberry tea.

Just take 694 to SLR and go north to the 1st light. It's right on that corner. Around back is the parking lot and US Bank.

Hey bentwings!! Yea I'm a firm disbeliever in global warming. Which day should we meet up this weekend??? I know where to find you Byron, wherever they have that rasberry iced tea. Lol Hope to see some of ya this weekend!!!!

 

Heck it can get colder out I don't care, speaking of the heaters I bought a 80,000 btu infread one that will stay lite and keep us warm, long story short 5 degrees out changing thermastat in gf truck, and guy before me streached the threads. ya 4 hours later. I Bought a big tube of RTV and A Bigger heater. Hope fully I can make it. with all the things going on I am not sure, I know I will be in the citys this weekend to stop off and the Nicu to see baby lauren. But the boss is trying to get us to work a 70 hour work week. sorry about the rabbling got to get it out some how. I can show off my high idler to all you guys. if it's way cold out I will bring the knipco.

Directions are pretty easy:
From 694, Go north on HWY 169. It's on your Left side.

From HWY 10, go South on 169, It's on your Right side.

BOTH will Grab 117th West one block, then take a left. Buffalo Wild wings will be on your left side.

I got a 3000 watt gen so if we need some power we got it.

I hope it is so hot the "wait to start lite" doesn't even come on. even though I'd like to see Fox man's idle up work.

If anybody has a lap top I have some short videos on a cd of my son's sand buggy that he and I built. It's insanely fast. 954 Honda crotch rocket motor and about 750 pounds rolling. It's geared for about 90 at 10.5k it will get there in about 100 yds. It will go full speed across a rough dirt field no problem.

 

Hay Josh , I heard some one talk about a motor maybe coming down from Mikes , is that yours ?
Trying to get a bed tank brought down from Mikes , that I made a deal on after everybody from TC area left .
