What a fantastic event!

I wanted to start a new thread to say thanks to Scott and his wife and family for hosting such a wonderful wrenching day, bbq, and get-together. Even though I was only able to stay for a few hrs (had to help my dad move a couch...one of the joys of owning a truck right ) I had a great time. This was the first event for me since buying my truck a couple of short weeks ago and I can honestly say I did not know that there was this big of a following for these vehicles in our area and such a great group of enthusiasts who are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and just a great group of guys. I look forward to meeting more of you as time goes on.

Got to ride in a couple of rigs and learned a lot from just talking to all the guys. Was great to meet Scott, Ernie (thanks man for removing my turbo silencer and swiss cheesing the intake box, love the whistling of the turbo now!), TJ, Leonard, Keith and the others. So many new faces and names I probably left a lot out. I'm looking forward to getting some parts and heading back up there ..I'm not mechanical at all, so I'm gonna need lots of help, but with this group and the quality of folks we have I'm sure it's gonna be a fun experience! Good times, excellent people, fantastic work garage, lots of knowledge, good food & conversation...man I'm in...when's the next one! I'm also looking forward to going out to see some of the pull and drag events, that should be fun to watch

see ya guys again soon...

Edit I always miss the gatherings! I spent all day trying to clean my garage floor to prep it for epoxy.

Nice meeting you Sunir. You have one fine lookin' truck there. We'll all look forward to the mods you want, as I'm sure whatever it is we've done it or something just like it. Did you ever get a ride in Leonard's truck?

A great event it was. To see all those Cummins (and some 6.6 something or other, lol) was awesome. Guess I need to buy a computer controlled truck now, lol......or not.
