Anybody going to the Wayne County fair for the truck pulls? Looks like Diesels are Monday (8/6) night this year with the big rig pulls, then local 4x4 on Tuesday (8/7) night. I am probably going to try to make both nights and just stay @ the girlfriends. Figured I would see if any members were from the area, or going to be pulling.

The fair grounds are on route 191 I believe, just outside of Honesdale, PA. Pretty easy ride, HERE is a link to the fair website.

 

Yep, just north of Rt. 6, on 191 (Honesdale).

I'm planning on making it up to watch again. I believe last year they had the semis on Monday eve, then the diesel pickups the following night. That's good that they combined the two though.

I don't remember the name of the trucking outfit on hand right now.. but i remember a whole slew of dark red-burgundy L model Kenworths there with Cat Power pulling. I also remember a good thunder-boomer creeping up that night, was short and sweet but put down a lot of rain and lightning in a short amount of time...
