Pack maybe we should hang a beer out over the hood of your truck when your raceing who knows you might go faster if you know you get to drink it when you get to the end of the tack. Sounds like your planning on being at the track then.

I have no idea what the charge is to run down the track. Who knows I might make a pass just to see what she'll do.

 

Some of us may not be able to go to the track. Is it possible to meet here in Springfield around 6ish? And then those that are going to the track leave from here together? I don't know what time PM will be at the track either? I'm planning on going to the track.

 

Well most of us it seems can make it to the track. If anyoen can't chime in and we can change it, however if no one chimes in to say any different I don't see why we can't jsut go to the drag strip. I need to get a 3rd gen to the track so I cna get some time with the Diablo Sport he bought so we can see the difference between that and the C5. Hopefully my buddy can bring that truck. If I had time I would put a few more things on my truck to run it at the track but I don't have easy acces to a place where I can do that and the apartment parking lot isn't the place lol even though I'm half tempted too. I got injectors, headstuds all types of stuff just sitting in the appt lol it looks more like a shop and a appt HAHAHA. But yea if no one chime sin any different on rogersville lets jsut go there. DR, I may have ot meet up with you before we go over as I do not really know where the track is. MC, I know you told me where that was but I tend to forget things. Ever forget? I forgot.

 

i'll be comin up 65 to go there anyone that wanted to could fall in behind me. whoever wants to can exchange numbes with me. we could all meet at TGIfridays and eat then go if ya'll wanted to. i likey that place alot. Ground shaker if you want to you can come down saturday mornin or so and i can help you with the sticks. hte studs i wouldn't advise cause they have a break in cycle that i don't think we would have enough time for. do you have entire sticks or just tips??? let me know if you want to.

 

I might have to come down. I hae all the tools except a shorty 3/4in wrench for the number 6 line, that one is always the hardest to get with a normal size qrench. I got .120 connector tubes and 8x18 injectors (whole injectors). I'll have to see what my buddy is doing, I'm not sure if he will want to come down that early but I will see. I got so much stuff to put on this truck its not even funny.

I can meet you anywhere you'd like. I'll figure on leaving around 6ish. You name the place I'll be there. The edge juice that came off my truck is still setting over by Seymour I haven't had the time to go get it yet. Maybe when I got to Ramondville I'll pick it up.

If I go down to PM's in the morning to do injectors I may not be here for the meeting on sat. Plus I thought we were gettin together on friday night at Rogersville since everyone said sat wouldn't work as well. DR, let me know if you want to head down early and do the injectors with me. I have to stop and get some starting fluid as these injectors will not light without.

 

Friday is the track meet. Sat. is the pull. What's the cost to run the track Pack Mule? I might go down early Sat with you GS. Let me know when you want to go and where to meet up with you.

 

it's 8 to watch and 2 dollars more to run i'm pretty sure. i haven't been up there but once or twice this year and it was on a doorslammer weekend. and you don't need starting fluid to get your truck to start. i haven't used it on any of the trucks i've put sticks in yet.

so it's official, MODTR30 will be having a g2g at Ozark International Raceway Friday August 24. beer donations will gladly be accepted by me and any other alcoholics. we also accept spicy pork rinds....... (ahem, mike) hint hint. i'll be rolling in around 7 most likely since i'm always late for everything i do.

 

I will be there. Friday and by the looks saturday also. The weather is what I am watching but I don't care anymore. I got the sticks and connector tubes. We can try without start fluid but I have yet to be able to light these things without it. I got my fass system also to put on but I think I might wait on that. See how long this stock LP wants to last and put the Fass on later. Its all connected as I had it on another truck I just unbolted it at the tank IP and frame. I think that is going to be easy to do since I have a dually now though.

 

DR, meeting up doesn't matter to me. I'm still learning the area but I think I can meet you anywhere ya need be. Like I said I want to get down there early enough to put the sticks in, now I'm also wondering about slapping that Fass on quick, all that takes is a few wire that I have to figure out quick (its on a switch, not wired into the harness). It shouldn't take mroe than a few hrs to put them in. Let me know what you guys think. You said you wanted to be down there about 8 or so I was thinking about heading out from here around three. And it we get done early, by the sounds we may have some time to grab a drink or two before we go. I hear PM has a tap pretty much built into his hand.

 

I think his tap his is finger. Seems to flow alot. I haven't seen the homemade spicy pork rind guy in awhile. Not sure where he hangs out at. I probably won't be able to find him until labor day weekend during the Foxtrotter show at Ava.

 

So we got PM, DR, MC and I going so far. Who else maybe coming? I know MC's truck since I saw it the other day and if I can't find it I'll just look for a dam fast white dodge on the track.
