Is there going to be any meets or is everybody too busy?

 

I'm not sure .. we had the inital meet a few months ago but everyone's summer seems to be just insanely busy. I know mine is. lol.

Any ideas? Anyone have some time in July?

 

Alright time to pull this thread out again. There is a tractor and truck pull here in the states on August 4th and 5th, the 4th is the Jamboree and the 5th is the truck and tractor pull. Its in Langford, NY about 40min from the Peace Bridge. I will be there, along with a fellow Cummins driver who is not on the boards. Joe Diffie is playing on Saturday, and I'm not sure if street trucks are allowed to pull in the event, the website doesn't give much info.

Also, America's Fair, AKA the Erie County Fair opens Wednesday August 8th in Hamburg, NY. There is a truck and tractor pull on opening night at 7pm, again, no information is given on whether street trucks can enter. Both I and a fellow Cummins driver will be there, and being the 2nd largest fair in the country (first by size rather than attendance), I'm sure numerous Cummins Trucks will be there, and it will be a good time to recuit .

It may not be an official meet, but if anyone else is going to make the trip down to the fair for anything, let me know with a PM and let everyone else know in this thread, maybe we'll have a small get together. Same goes for the Jamboree, if anyone is coming down to pickup smokin' hot country girls, ,let me know, I'll be there without the girlfriend looking to do the same.

 

We'll be at the Erie County Fair. We usually go twice when it's on. We have tickets to go to the Daughtry concert so we'll be there that day (the 17th I believe) and we'll go one other day that something good is going on.

 

Well...The truck and tractor pull is pretty good. I'm going to the Trace Atkins concert, more of a country boy, so count me out for that hard stuff, I still like rock, just not as much for the money. I'll be there most of the weekend since I have judging for the 4-H kids to volunteer for. Let me know when your gonna be there and I'll let you know if I'll be around.

If anyone is interested this Saturday at the Grand Bend Motorplex they are having the annual Big Rig Nationals. I have gone the past couple of years and it is a fun day with any truck being able to run the track in the morning to get an idea on your e/t for the bracket racing in the afternoon. They have classes for the semi's as well as daily driver pickups/SUV's or anything else as long as it is a truck. A fun day to just hang out and see what everything runs and they have a show and shine for the big trucks as well. They have a bit of information on the website grandbendmotorplex.com and scroll down to the Earl Hardy Big Rig Nationals but starts at 10am and runs to ??? Maybe see somebody there.
