ONDTR #39 Open Discussion
Ok, just to keep everyone up to date, there are a few things that we are currently working on...
First off are the stickers....Thanks to pwirch for taking care of all the work in getting the stickers done. We now have a really high quality 5" diameter vinyl sticker that turned out great. He has received a stock order of 50 which we will sell for $4 each to cover his costs with the remainder to go towards our chapter fund to help cover/offset any associated costs for future chapter events.
Now, onto the events....
We have 2 things we are taking into consideration at the moment. One is a dyno day. I'm still waiting to hear back on some quotes for some bulk dyno time on a Saturday....I'll let y'all know what's up there when I know. The other thing is a wrench day. So far, Detree has offered up his place to do some wrenching with the possibility of turning it into an overnighter.
This is where we are at for the moment....I don't want to wait too much longer to get some dates firmed up for some of these things because we all know how busy the summer can get. For me, I will have a very busy offroading summer....for some reason, it seems like there is a whole lot more going on this season and I do want to take advantage of it!
So, fire away with ideas and suggestions and subscribe to this thread as it is an open discussion to talk about whatever you want regarding our chapter.

I agree .. we need to get some dates on the scheudle before the summer gets filled up .. already have two weekends booked with offroad events, I need two weekends a month to dedicate towards finishing off our home renovations. I'm building the shop starting in May so that will be some weekend time there doing all the electrical and finish work. A trip to the cottage to do some wheeling definitely needs to be worked in. It's filling up quick.
Regarding the stickers .. I'll take two.

It is a good haul for Pete and I to get up there so we don't want to show up ill-equipped for a good time.
I don't have anything to wrench on but you can let Streeter know that I have a #100 plate all ground up for him and ready to fry his tranny!
Just gotta make sure he at least has a pyro....

Yeah, it is filling up quick! I have to say, July is pretty much a right off for me now. Maybe a June date?
When do you expect to have the shop up?
The shop should be started May 1st now and they to expect 3-4 weeks to completion. They've got a full crew coming in to work on it and I can knock out the electric in a weekend easy. He said he didn't want to say less than 3 weeks but said with the full crew it could very well be less, weather permitting.
Oh and I could definitely be talked into loading up the Jeep for a little fun.

Ok, so it's nothing big yet but I've got an ONDTR #39 Members site up. It will just be real simple, a place we can go to see financials, members, who knows what else we decide to put up on here. Maybe a calendar at somepoint. Things we don't have the ability to host on this forum.

Yes, you can definitely talk me into hauling the Jeep up there....it'll probably end up turning into a whole weekend event if the camper and Jeep are going to get loaded up together! Which is fine by me! I think we might be able to talk Pete into bringing his Jeep too?

Just gotta make sure he at least has a pyro....let me know if may might work...I know Pete has his plate full getting his shop up and running (priorities) but a week end off might be needed and well deserved.

The website looks great....
I still haven't got the info I'm waiting for regarding dyno time...
I'm hoping others will actually chime in here and acknowledge their existance so I have more numbers to play with.
