Traction bars are universally accepted as being worth a 2/10's reduction in E.T., for a 1/4 mile.
(The LAZARBARS are a tad better than 2/10's!)

Maybe I should have let you try it!!! Seriously, the only way I can improve is to get out there and do it.

I firmly believe Drag racing is like sex. You can read it about it, you can talk about it, you can watch movies about it.......but unless you get in there and participate it is not quite the same...

Only difference is.... one is more fun to watch than the other! AND...it lasts longer (for most of us).

The real question is......... What color would the Schoolbus paint his traction bars?

Scott is only allowed to buy Solar Yellow traction bars!

Really, though - I'm surprised that NO ONE yet has ordered ANY of our parts powdercoated in one of the many colors available (no extra $) besides black...

I'm not so sure drag racing is like sex:

'cause when get to the end of the strip, I don't feel real sleepy all of a sudden...

'cause it's OK to go ahead and "Launch" when you see the green light....

'cause no matter how many times I drive it home, my truck never asks if I'll still respect it in the morning...

Hmm....I guess your thinking the obvious answer is, of course.....BLACK! But if im going to keep up the drag racing, I wonder if another color (blue perhaps) might be a better option. Just kinda set things off and be a little different in that ONE area of the truck. I don't know. Ideas?

I still question my decision to go black wall out on the tires too. I think running my black wheels and no caps.........the raised white letters facing out might give it more of, 'RACING', look. If nothing else I may try that with my leftover BFGs after I get my 2nd set of rims pc'd black. (that would become the race tires) Thoughts?

You guys crack me up.....

My analogy was only in the sense that watching on the sidelines doesn't substitute for participating in either....

A great Friday or Saturday nite would include BOTH events!!

I haven't been on here in a while but I just wanted to say it was great to meet everyone from the North TX chapter and put some faces to the names. Yeah, I had to listen to bus choke on the plastic too!

I almost dropped my laptop, I was laughing so hard. You guys might want to start backing off on that stuff before you start talking in terms of a good start on the track. (I think that's the right use for the term I'm thinking of)

Dan, your pic didn't come through. I'll just say that I mostly agree with black wall out on most wheels. But with Black wheels and no center caps, the raised white letters have a little different (positive) look, imo.

Brian and Rowland both told me definately black wall out when I was doing the thread on getting my new tires. So I blame them...
