Big Blue,
Please tell your parents I looked for them the personally say thanks, when I was leaving...Thought they were leaving out the drive as I left....realized too late that was your sister (i was not exactly 100%.. due to severe lack of sleep)??

Medium to hard rain, all the way, made for a long 6 hrs home... someone ought to tell Tx drivers the left lane is not for cruising at 60 mph in a downpour.

I'm guessing, from your comments, that with Mike's equipment, you got your truck back on the road??
Thanks for your familys hospitality. Great weekend and lots of interesting memories. Long time since I got woken by rain while sleeping outside....and a first for sleeping on the floor of a horse barn, with a feral cat

I guess we all made it home OK. Dan made it to MO, Brian made it to LA, Rowland made it to OK, Tyler to College Station, Hunter to Fredericks berg and the rest of us made it back to North Texas.....all in spite of the rain.

Which chair? Does this mean I get to keep one of them.

The last time I saw your mirror was when I put it back in your tool box. I don't know if anyone used it after that.

Don, You missed a great, rain free (lucky)Saturday at the races ..... and a fun wrenching & eating Sunday.
Next time!

Charlie, Guess I'm now 0 for 2 when it comes to leaving chairs at get togethers. Can't even use 'hung over' as an excuse

Making it home wasn't an issue. The truck actually steers better now than it did before and the squeak I had before is gone now so who knows. I do know that I don't have any gauge lights. Guess I missed a couple of grounds somewhere.

Getting to school this morning was an issue. College station and huntsville were completely flooded this morning and it made for a very slow, wet, miserable trip to class. Not to mention the half mile walk in the down pour from the truck to class. Oh well.

Dan, I'm glad that your flight got delayed. I was a little worried about you making it there on time. I'll be sure to let my mom know about the food. I doubt she'll eat much of it since my dad is in germany all week, my sister and I are back at college, and it's just her and the dogs back home.

Glad to hear everybody got back safe and sound.

I was bitting my tongue all weekend. Part of the plan was the wife was having all her friends and their kids over for Sat evening while I went to Houston. So instead of having fun with my friends at a Diesel event, I was listening to 5 women and 12 kids run around the house all night. ):

Wish i could have meet some of you guys out there. I was at Di friday night, and was out at Baytown all saturday. I got some good videos of the drags, but was kinda mad that my battery died part way through the sled pulls and missed all the good destructive pulls
