I'm going to give TexasCTD a call at around 10am and make sure their up and recovering from the hangovers from last night. My plan is to be there around 11 or so.

Yep, saw some impressive runs yesterday. RamWheelsBy4 showed some good numbers. He ran in the upper twelves. One run showed him in the tens but it was from the timing sensors being smoked out on the staging line.
Too bad Scheid Diesel had issues with their Cummins power dragster on the line. I would have loved to see it make a run down the track.

Update: Local radar is showing rain in the area now. There goes the drag racing. Guess the burnout contest is still on.

Sunday got squashed from the rain, so we didn't get to make it over to the Baytown. Im assuming it all pretty much was cancelled for Sunday. But Saturday was just simply awesome!!! The drags were neat but that is the first time I had ever seen a sledpull event in person. (Bobcat698...Garrett...great to meet you) Ramwheels, great to meet you too. 10.20 in the quarter sure would have been nice huh?? Maybe you need to look at a set of stacks to avoid smoking out the sensors so bad.

MikeyB....feel free to come on up anytime for any events going on up this way. Really nice to put a face to your name i've seen on this board for 2 years. Hope that Mrs. MikeyB is feeling better too.

Well I finally got my phone back up so people can call me. I had a blast this weekend yall. A HUGE thanks goes out to mike and his assorted tools. Without you we woulda been screwed this weekend. I'm glad everyone could make it except for dieselfan. I'm sorry about that bud. We'll catch ya next time.

Yeah that sucked, Brian. Next time we will make sure you have more than one cell phone number. You were in my rear view mirror and I had to change lanes to stay on I-10 west and I looked back up and you were gone!! There were a bunch of turn offs around downtown. I knew where I was going but I had to move quick to get there when I saw the signs. When I saw you weren't there anymore, I didn't know where you had turned or how to get in touch with you.

I hope you made it back home ok. Please accept my apology for whatever role I played in that mess.

 

Another good weekend! We had something like 15 guys there plus we met a some DTR guys from the Houston area.

Tyler's folk were the same gracious host they were last year. Really good folks......I don't know what happened to Tyler. With all the rain on Sunday, their HUGE barn was life saver.

I don't have many pics, but I do have and few and some videos that I will get to Rob so he can post them on the North Texas site.
