put those on some 35 nitto mud grapplers or mickey thompsons baja mtz...
It's so cold, I can't hardly even stand expensive beer anymore
- so I've been working my way through the top shelf of the wet bar
If this cold snap doesn't break soon, there'll be nothing left but 2 and a half cans of Sterno, the rest of my son's cough medicine, and of course - whatever I can huff out of the old PowerService jugs....

I know the feeling mike. We almost ran outta beer last night then we found some stashed in the back of the fridge. All I know is that if this doesn't let up I'm gonna go nuts. A human being was not designed to stay couped up for this long when they've got turbo's to install and high idler's to play with.
Tyler whines more about the cold than I do the heat!!
Another few days and we will forget all about this little cold snap. It just makes us appreciate our "normal" weather patterns all the more, right?
Ohh, Charlie.....I have been meaning to ask you, how do YOU feel about cold weather?
Our roads are all clear, but we do have some ice in some shady areas because it didn't get above freezing all day today. I went to a call location tonight, and I walked out down some stairs and not paying any attention......and whoooops...I busted my _______! I didn't get hurt since I caught myself...but it could have been really bad!!
My buddy slipped and landed in a pile of half frozen muddy water in the whataburger parking lot. Even people inside were laughing at him.
Roads are clear here. Bridges are still questionable. School's cancelled until noon and my noon class cancelled. Can't open the fuel door on my truck because the ice is so thick (glad I've got a full tank), there's 7" ice cycles on my truck that won't melt, and I am so making that high idle switch tomorrow. Better than my sis has it though. They've had her entire parking garage locked up and haven't been allowing anyone to drive anywhere for the past two days and they've had snow and school is cancelled all day tomorrow.

All you gotta do is turn on that cruise control and bump it up to 1500 rpms!! Should warm up to almost full operating temp in about 10-12 minutes.
Ohh.....wait......you don't have a 3rd gen do ya? Doggonit!!
Seriously though, don't you have a block heater?
Yes I have a block heater but living in an apartment doesn't really allow me to hook one up. My smarty has a high idle feature but it's finicky on when it wants to turn on. After sitting for well over 12 hours in 29* weather it high idled the truck up to about 170* and then I killed it. Then it set in 30* weather for another 8-9 hours and wouldn't high idle so I'm gonna build the switch box that's being discussed in the 2nd gen performance section so that way I don't have to worry about the smarty kicking on the high idle. Not to mention that it would be nice when I go into stores or what not.
