Well new ball joints are in... Now have grease fittings in the top and bottom joints... Nice touch... Old ones were in pretty bad shape... I was able to pull one of the lowers in and out of the socket over a half inch!!

Clutch is doing well, every time I adjust the linkage I have to learn how to drive it all over again... Changes the release point! RIght now it is releasing well (shifting from a stop greatly improved), however the release is way to late. (pedal too high) so I have to find a happy medium... Time will tell..

OK guys I miss my fuel pressure gauge!! Want to get a new line tomorrow... my idiot light just has me feeling oozy... What can I use that is diesel compatible and I can feel safe running it into the cab??

This is where I wanted the SS braid, but will use anything that will work... The line I had in there got too soft feeling and rubbed a whole in it somewhere a while back... Thanks needle valve!! Dont have a lot of room for fittings near the gauge so keep that in mind!

Thanks, bout have this truck back where it needs to be... Cleaned up the engine bay today and did a little more clutch adjustment... Getting close

You'll have to re-introduce to "Whitey" all over again. Won't seem like the same truck.

Brian, I can get you an SS braided fuel line like the one on the '05 if you want.

Our hard drive made the Transformation to a smoking pile of electronic refuse earlier this week, so I won't have timely info on the budget dyno Buck is arranging unless someone calls us tomorrow afternoon... (hint)

See y'all tomorrow!

p.s. and the July 5th T-storm fried the wireless internet modem...

bigred - are you still flying up?
Found a ride yet?

I'm bringing coffee beans, a grinder and an SS carafe...

Robert, can I put some 1/2 + 1/2 in your fridge?

I wish our weather report was looking better. We have some pretty high percentages of rainfall coming this weekend......and even higher to points north of Alvarado.

This is definately NOT the NORMAL JULY for NORTH TEXAS this year!

My 'new' camping coffee pot died last time at Sedalia, so I'm no longer on coffee detail. If there is a 7-11 type near by, I'll buy hot coffee for the early risers!
No word from Buck on caretaker or open gate policy so I guess we show up and take what we get! Being first yr for the event, I'm sure Bobby & Buck are very busy with last minute details. Suspect all will be handled by time we get there!
Going to be fun...
Bringing Old tires...265/70/17 on 17" Dodge steel wheels if anyone else wants to play at the burnout!
