MODTR#30 INFO!!!!!!!!!!( meeting minutes)
Well the GTG this afternoon went well, we had a good turn out, and some really good food.
PistolWhipt was elected our new chapter president by unanimous vote. PW was elected in -absentia( meaning he wasn't there to fight back!!
)
MColeman and I will continue to share the duties until his homecoming in April.
A few activity's were discussed, the next being a "Welcome Home, Now Get a Job" Party for PistolWhipt to be held in late April. the exact date and time will be announced.
June 9th will be a Diesel Drag Race and Dyno Day to be held at the Ozark International Raceway in Rogersville Mo.
MColeman will be posting more info about this event.
We then spent an hour or so out in the cold admiring each others trucks, and I made a good attempt at running over Astevenson, but he moved......
TexasCTD made the trip up and it was really nice to hear from one of the TX members and we hope he will join us again! CDDoeden may have actually convinced the BOSS that she needs her own truck( tho I still say real trucks don't have heated seats!
) Mike, I think she wants to buy yours.........
I am attempting to put together a mailing list of all the area members, so if you were unable to attend, please get in touch with me for inclusion on the list!!
Hope all who attended made it home safe and I for one am looking forward to the next one!!!

Thanks for putting this together Chrisreyn. I for one had a good time, and enjoyed meeting everyone. I forgot my camera but hopefully someone took a few pictures.
Hope to see everyone at the next GTG.

Looking forward to setting up some wrench days to help other members and learn more myelf. Enjoyed the lunch and talking with everybody sorry I couldn't stay longer and check out everyones rig. I'm sure glad Astevenson didn't fill up on chips and salsa got to be able to move at these GTG's. See everyone next time. Kurt Swartz
sorry i missed, sounds like ya'll had a good time. but i had good reason, i finally got to see my 2 little ones and it's been since christmas since i seen 'em last. needless to say their mother is not good people and she does this all the time. that and i found out wednesday i'm diabetic so i have one strict diet i gotta eat by. i know i could have brought them but i don't want them out in the cold. it's kinda aggravating cause i've been throwing such a fit for a g2g and i didn't even get to show.
Congratulations Pistol.
Is this going to be a permanent change?
If so, then I will need to get Pistol some paperwork to read over/fill out.
I will also need to change the map and my records.
Rich.

Hey y'all !!!
Man, I am sure upset that I missed this one .... sounds like you guys had a good time and some great food. When folks are willing to make a trip clear from Texas, you know it's a good time !!
Pack ... don't sweat not making it, brother. You have your priorities in order as far as I'm concerned .... enjoy the time with the kiddies. You'll have to fill me in on the diet issues so I know what we need to throw on the grill in April !!
If anyone knows of something going on in May that we could put together fire me a PM. I would like to have something going each month to offer the chapter as a whole.
Again .... thank you ALL for this honor and a real big thanks goes out to Jim Pointer for getting this whole thing rolling. He volunteered his time and effort to make sure we had representation and got MODTR-30 in gear.
Also thanks go out to Chris "Puddle Pirate" Reynolds for his hard work arranging this GTG (a few times) and his efforts to keep things moving.
Keep your eyes peeled for the proposed date of the April GTG ... I will come up with something as soon as I can so y'all can make plans.
Cheers,
PISTOL

Pictures are on the way. I'm resizing them and saving them as I type this. Pack I don't think they make sugar free beer. You may be in trouble there.
Good food and a good turnout for such a cold and windy day. Hope everyone can make it to El Presidente's for the April welcome home, now get a job meet and feed.
That's what you get for not showing up Rob. You weren't there to defend yourself and ended up elected. Honest, Chris and I had nothing to do with it.

Guys thanks for letting me come be a part of your GTG this go round! Definately on the chilly side, but I really enjoyed meeting all of you. I certainly wish you well with your chapter and hope I can make it up again sometime in the future. As always, if you ever happen to be coming down toward North Texas.....Crobtex and the North Texas DTR guys would love to have you join in anytime.
Congrats Pistolwhipt on your new highly compensated position!
