I'm thinking that we should get together sometime this summer. We could have a meet and great or meet at an event ect. ect. I am willing to meet just about anywhere south of the bridge.

One idea would be to meet at the tractor/old engine show either in Buckley, or Oakley. They are both the 3rd weekend of August, Saturday would be the 18th.

A couple of the guys that came to the meet in February were going to be setting up something at the sled pulls here in K'zoo this summer. I haven't heard anything yet tho, and for the life of me I can't remember their screen names or REAL names!

I'm all for Buckley! Missed it last year. This seems to be the summer of some weddings, so I probably won't have a lot of weekends to spare, but I'll make that one a priority. Usually the thing packs right up (who knows with gas prices) and is best to get there by 10ish. Any later and you'll think you're waiting to get into Cedar Point. If anybody wanted to cut the drive time and pitch a tent in the yard, I'm about a 30-40 minutes south of Buckley. Paul, you haven't been back yet to see the bell!

 

Where is Buckley vs Oakley?

 

Look between Cadillac and Traverse City on the county line. The Event is just west off 37 where it cuts from north to east into Buckley.

 

Oakley is between Chesaning and Owosso on M52. Don, Buckley is fine with me, both are good shows. I don't understand why they are the same day. The big thing I like about Oakley is it's close to me.

This does seem to be the year of wedding. My boss' daughter is getting married and I get to run the farm for a weekend by myself.

 

Finally get a promotion eh?

Oakley doesn't have a train to ride though...

 

The train ride is nice and all, but not a deciding factor. I will go to the one that the majority wants to. I'm thinking about going to both, Buckley on Saturady and Oakley Sunday.
