Hey guys, I threw a code today but the dealer said that they could not get to even looking at it till monday. Anyone have a code reader that I would use to read the code? I can not get the key trick to work.

It does not matter to me, I just would like to know what is wrong. I was jumping a loader at work and the cables were extremely hot and there was water/acid coming out of the top of the batteries. Just let me know when and where and I should be able to make it but I do have to work Sat in the AM and then going to Harford fair in the evening.

Thanks to robmints for comming over and reading my codes. Here they are.

P-2504 -- high system charge

P-0462 -- fuel level sending unit volts too low

PD-412 -- Unknown

So what do these mean?

try clearing them and see if they come back it might have been a surge that went thru your system when you jump that loader.

That would have caused all of them? The light has not come back on after the truck was started about 6 times or so. Would it come back on with the codes stored? We didn't clear them because it is going in soon for the antifreeze issue and I figured that they could check them out.

Probably from when you jump started that vehicle and taxed your charging system to it's limit.
