Looking for a NC chapter

Just wondering if there is a active North Carolina chapter that goes to events and what not, looking to join one.

I am the president of the WNC Chapter but at this time we have not been active. Hopefully now that things are slowing down for me, we can be more active. How far are you from Asheville?

bggrndodge:

We do have a pretty active eastern N.C. Chapter and just had a GTG at "Morgans Corner, N.C." this past weekend. They had a good dyno competition and sled pull there with a very good turnout. I live in Holly Ridge, N.C. (between Jacksonville and Wilmington) and will try to keep you notified of our next event.

Yeah Chet, we were talking about that at "Morgans Corner." I need to get up with Jeff Creech at "Carolina Auto Masters" and see what his schedule looks like.

Chet:

I just looked back in my little "stenographers notebook" which is FULL of alot of N.C./VA. Dyno Days the past few years, and we were last up at Jeff's on 02-17-06.

God it was so friggin cold... lol. I'm surprised the remaining 1/2qt. of fluid in my at the time exploded transmission had not frozen solid. But the food was good and it was fun .

I'd love to do that again this year.
