Fall Brawl 2003 Dyno and Drag Race Challenge

Here is a copy of a post outlining Fall Brawl 2003

Yes folks, thats right, Its getting close and its now time to start organizing for our annual BIGGEST Dyno Rip, Picnic and show.

Date...Saturday & Sunday October 4th-5th(We also can have Friday if needed)
Where...Kauffman Motorsports..901 Range End Road..Dillsburg.PA 17019..(717)502-8880

Last year we dynoed 54 trucks in one afternoon and with that amount or more possible we have added the extra day. Jetpilot has worked out a trip to the drag strip that weekend for those who wish also. Plan is for those who are interested in racing to dyno Saturday first and those not later or Sunday. Cost for the dyno spins is the same($60) and includes torque readings.

Post here with interest. Also let us know what you would like to bring to help support the picnic.

More info will follow as we put the finishing touches on it and I'll keep you updated. We are working on vendors who are interested now. So till then, what may happen????

Could Jetpilot's Piers engineered Slick Black Bottle Rocket be on top again??. Or will Ol' Sleddy keep him in check and beat him down on #2 alone like last year. What about our own force, OB1Kobi, with the addition of a drug problem can Ted teach Doug a lesson??..

This will be a wild show with lots of trash talking there and before hand, so why wait, lets start now. Sleddy better have his gun belt notched up tight, there ARE some of us who will educate him that weekend....So off we go,lets here from you..........

Ok everyone I am working on getting a local hotel to be the "Official Hotel" for Fall Brawl 2003. So how many of you would be interested in staying overnight that weekend for the event? Please respond ASAP.

Thanks,

Doug

Someone really needs to get an event in the center of this big country. Just imagine if all the guys could drive to the center instead of one extreme or the other. North East South West all in one place. Oh yeah and the guys from the other country "Texas" could go to. Of course we might need a few security personnel if we let any of them show up

Re:Fall Brawl 2003 Dyno and Drag Race Challenge

Hello
I hope to be able to attend this event.
Are there any campers doing the camper thing?? I plan on camping somewhere close.
I also hope to meet the relative of L/Cpl Tyson, I worked with him here in America as well as over in Kuwait and Iraq. He is a fine young man even though he drives a FORD PSD.
Please keep us posted on this event.
See Ya
Chris

We have an official sponsoring hotel for “Fall Brawl 2003”. Hilton Garden Inn
550 E Main St
Hummelstown, PA 17036

The hotel has extended a flat rate of $85 per night for both Friday October 3rd and Saturday October 4th. In order to receive this rate you need to contact them directly at: 717-566-9292 and ask for the Fall Brawl rate. The rooms will be available until the hotel is sold out.

For those of you wanting somewhere to camp I recommend Hershey Highmeadow Campground
1200 Matlack Road
Hummelstown, PA 17036
Phone: 717-534-8999

Both of these locations are less than ½ mile apart so it should make for a fun time hanging out. They are both centrally located between the dyno shop and the raceway.

Maplegrove!? We go there every weekend. Just dont go in the Potty Queen Toilets, otherwise my dad and i will have to work the weekend after. (we suck the toilets there). But that is only about 30 mins. away from there. But at least we now our way around.

Yes, you can pay at the door. Remember this is a two day event so either day is open...... Hopefully most will elect to stay for both days but if only one day is an option come on over and join in the fun.
