Chestertown, MD Truck Pulls Apr 21 you going?
I came in 4th place I think with a 240' pull, which wasnt bad considering the winner was only about 11' in front of me, track was not bad and the sled was heavy...but a heck of a long day...started at 4 and the open diesel class was the last to go, we finished at 11:15. LONG DAY.
well all in all it was a fun time by all that went except maybe brett! but i have video of a couple of the MDDTR guys pulling and also of brett being lifted/pushed off the track. Brett, we'll all keep an eye out for a dana 80 replacement for your truck. i have to say thanks again to Will for letting TJ and I crash at his house last night instead of having to drive back. i will post the video loaded once a get a few minutes to upload them.
i passed 2 guys in a silver standard cab 3rg gen trailering a 2nd gen truck on sunday on rt 97. any of you guys? my truck is black on black with black stacks and has eastern diesel on the side of it.
I popped the hood twice now to have a peek at how tough it would be to do on my own. I know it can be done, just know that some parts would be MUCH easier with another set of paws on it.
I might just run the switches out the firewall, mount the tank and then stop down to get some help with the elbow and plumbing.
Mike has a Lacrosse game at 2:00 in Fallston, kinda breaks up the whole day if you know what I mean. I sounds like a BUSY day at the cave, that's for sure.
Thanks for the invite, I'll let you know what's up closer to the end of the week.
