Hey guys.

Chris started a thread on the TDR about an Iowa group. I know this is a little late, but a couple friends of mine are meeting in Cedar Rapids this saturday for lunch, and I'm trying to get some more diesel guys to meet us there.

We are meeting at Boneheads Resturaunt at 12 noon this Saturday the 7th. I am a CTD man, but any diesels are welcome. Anytime I can make new friends its good. Sorry I did not post over here earlier.

Please post up if you can make it. I'll be taking names and contact info so we can get an Iowa group up and going.

Sorry, I cant make it, I was the one who told Chris he better take a look at his post he started over at TDR!lol I have stuff to do, but would sure be interested if it happens again, I know where Boneheads is at too!!!, tell them guys on the TDR who LIVE in or around Cedar rapids That there IS a truck stop in CR, its south of the city, just south of 380 and 30 I cant remember the name of it, but its between the airport and Peterbuilt.{I used to park there from time to time!}Hope you have a good turn out.

OK guys, I'm still on for tomorrow,Saturday, at noon, at Boneheads Resturant in Cedar Rapids. Hope to see some of you there.

Boneheads Bar and Grill is at 217 Collins RD NE, Cedar Rapids Ia and their # is 319-395-0355. I've never been there so I'll be lost like most everybody else. *EDIT* here is a link to a map to where we are going. Boneheads is the "A" balloon. Just use the bar on the left of the map to make the map bigger until you see what you need.

I've got a red first gen with aluminium wheels and 33" mud tires. Usually followed by puffs of smoke. Hope to see you there.

I just wanted to thank the guys that showed up yesterday. Had a good time meeting some guys with the same intrests and hobbies as I. Every time I have encountered guys from groups like the DTR and the TDR it has been a good time.

I have the list of contact info of the guys that came. Everybody that met yesterday was very interested in doing this again. Please PM me or email me at Countryboymm@iowatelecom.net and I will put your name and contact info on the list.

Everytime I get info for an area truck pull, drag race, or whatever, I will send out a notification to everybody on the list. Dunno how "official" our group will be, but its just fun to meet up, maybe have a wrench day, etc, etc. It sounds like Tony and Eric want to do something in the Des Moines area next time. Dyno event, or just a tweak and play day.
