I'll be there, I may even be able to bring some "other makes" with me. A friend of mine owns Twisted Diesel Performance here in Virginia Beach, they are ford specialist. I can get a few of those guys and there powerstrokes to come up there and make some of that cackle noise they do.
The owner should have his own truck done by then, we took the cab off it last month so he could do head studs, porting, fuel system, injectors, and a turbo. Crazy that you have to do all that work with the cab just to get at the heads huh?

 

I was through the area this past weekend camping with my son's Boy Scout troop at Skyanchor...Holy smokes, those plants stink!!

Seeing as the 17th is Faters Day, I should have some leverage to get up that way!

No word on the dyno yet but the CVFD is good to go and looking forward to the event. The CVFD chief just bought a 2001 Dodge and is already asking me which box to get.

i would like to be able to make it but beings its fathers day weekend, prolly wont be able to.

Sorry guys for not getting back to you all sooner... I just responded to the PM a minute ago.

Mike can do the event but I will not be able to make it. That is the same date for the DHRA drag race at Clay City KY which I will have to be at.

If you guys want me there, my first open date is June 30th but we all know Mike doesn't need me around.

It would create the issue of Mike needing to find a hotel close if possible but it can all be worked out.

I would hate to miss this one but that is part of the game I suppose.

 

I am good for moving it till the 30th weekend if Joel gets the ok from CVFD. Lets check soon to keep from loosing the date. I am sure Mike can do everything great but it will not be the same with out David. Anyone else have some input? Tim
