Papasmurf,

I won't be there until sometime Saturday late morning or early afternoon. The bird should really sit and marinade overnight. I'm thinking about smoking up a couple of Pork roasts for some pulled pork BBQ. If anyone would be interested.?.? They call me Chef-Man-Ar-Dee you know........

Joel, put me down for a steak for friday. I will pay for it but am coming straight from work. On Saterday we can bring whatever food needed also. Looking forward to some good cooking, last year was great. I have seen the 10 day forecast and it looks good but around here it could change by then. I might just stay in my truck Sat night, if it is nice. Are the Porterfields coming up? Have not heard from them in a while. Tim

Should I cut the shooting range and fix up some new auto-reset targets (bowling pins)?
If we can decide on a day/time, we can do some shooting at my house (about 60 miles from the Claremont site). I have a 25 yard range and a (up to) 150 yard range.
Targets are impromptu (redneck), cans, bowling pins, paper, milk jugs full of water, etc. Just no glass.

Chris

Man! If I wasn't coming down with the family I'd bring the AR-15 and the Makarov. I've got around 1500 rounds of ammo for the AR. It sure would be nice to get rid of some of it.

I'm dropping the family off at my sisters in Wakefield and coming to see you guys for a couple of hours and then I have to go back to the family. They don't seem too interested in coming to see the trucks. What's wrong with them??

Stamey, I see your sig says you're on your 3rd input shaft. Is this in the new trans or does that include the stock trans? I thought that new trans had the heavier duty input shaft...

Dennis it has all new frictions again, as well as some other parts. Chris is hard on shafts, he was killing the input hubs at 350hp. Now he should be around 550hp and I am worried about the other shafts. Funny he never actually broke the input shafts just stripped the splines from the hub. I need to do a little tweaking on his twins and we should show some good numbers on the dyno and drag strip. Tim

You guys are nuts man!! I should have you guys up here this weekend doing this TC and VB install for me. You can probably get it done in an hour with your eyes closed..
Maybe one day I'll be pushing 550 horses.

Do you think I can push that many horses around without making them mad???

Ed,
Let me know if you need some help pulling that thing down there...

Tim, the steaks are on me, don't worry about that.
The Saturday feed is what concerns me. Based on the posts I've read and the PM's I've gotten, it sounds like about 40 to 50 trucks so far. Sounds like SmurF and Dodgezilla have a major portion of the Saturday food covered already and Ed is bringing plates and utensils. Butch is bringing tables and name tags. If you need a name tag made up before the show, send him a PM and he will have them ready. He did a real good job of that last year.

Doesn't look like mine will be ready for the dyno, now they've lost the fire rings or something. I'm getting ready to drag the GN back out there and bring my truck home to someone that knows what is going on. I'm getting really tired of this crap.

We got my sons front axle all put back together today and it works real well. Gotta find someone now that knows how to properly align that 60 front end. There is supposed to be a place called Precision something in Petersburg I need to find.

If anyone needs to do any exhaust work, let me know and I will have the local NAPA stock up on SS clamps and pipe and stuff.

This is looking like a really good event, I hope the weather holds out for everyone. See you soon.......

Joel

Me and Dad will bring things for Saterday. Just let me know what is needed. Berts Alignment in Va beach is great with solid axles. I send work to them all the time, no complaints. Single rear wheels I will be able to do starting next month. Really looking forward to next weekend. Tim

Man, that thing is so little, you wil probably have to go outside to change your mind.

Just kidding, I would get it too for that price.

I can see it now, "hey, what's that thing Ed is dragging around behind his truck?".
