Thanks for the offer Lurch, you're a good man !!

So far so good here .... but we'll have to see what the wet-weather creek that crosses our only way out looks like later in the morning !! I made it out yesterday to go pick up my kids from school ... but even that probably wasn't the safest plan .... even in the Yoda . All the fields are flooded out and the neighbors livestock is all wearing flippers and snorkles.

Sure hope I can get to town to pick up the parts for the ol' lady's front differential tomorrow. I gotta get the stupid thing rebuilt before I head out on the next trip to SOCAL. Might be burning the midnight oil on this one.

Hope everyone else is doing well. If not ... give us a hollar.

The rain got here about 2 hours ago. It looks like we'll catch a break because the thunderstorms won't re-fire for another hour or two. It should be mostly past us by then.

11.5" in Cape on Tuesday... i think we got 7-8" at the house... i got the call yesterday morning (while in Cleveland) to get the trailer out of storage due to owner's expecting the water to get into the storage lot... i've gotta get some land to park my backside & toys
