MIDTR meet?

Alright, lets see if we can't get something going for this...

First things first, date and location?

I think we should shoot for sometime late Feb., early March, obvsiously will need to be a weekend...

Location... I think lansing would probably work best since it is very centrally located, so noone has a crazy drive... There isn't much to do here aside from bowling/pool/eating [laugh]... we do have the R.E. Olds transportation museum as an option though, I've never been personally but I hear it's pretty cool, not a dodge thing but hey, auto stuff is auto stuff :p...

Ideas? if something else is gonna work better we can definitly overhaul my suggestions haha...

I'm off for the Feb 23 show. The depot restaraunt has a good breakfast too. Or if the weather is decent, maybe a tailgate party in the lot?

Don, The gun show is in Mason at the fairgrounds, correct? What depot are you talking about? The 23rd sounds good to me.

could be a good time, I'm not a huge gun enthusiast but I definitly enjoy looking at them :P... Could bring my grandpa along, he used to own/operate a gun shop.

Redleg Jan 29, 2008 12:21 PM

I forgot, there's usually a 3-4 $ entry fee.

Number47 Jan 29, 2008 05:29 PM

3-4 bucks!!! that like a gallon of fuel :D[laugh] and if you have a smarty bring it please i need the 3cyl idle

Redleg Feb 1, 2008 12:44 PM

Wait til you see the hot dog prices!

Holsteinman Feb 3, 2008 04:22 PM

I should be able to make it and I think my brother will be with me. I work that weekend, but should be able to get Saturday off.

Number47 Feb 4, 2008 07:32 AM

ok we know a day, what about a time? or are we going for right when the show starts

Redleg Feb 4, 2008 10:55 AM

The show runs 9-5. I could bring a regular size gas grill for lunch, unless somebody has a travel/compact style? Maybe I'll try to pick one up anyway. I was thinking maybe meeting around noon in the back of the lot and cooking brats or burgers if everybody wanted to bring something.

Anybody want to meet at the depot for breakfast before the show? About 9-9:30 ish?

JHew84 Feb 4, 2008 11:35 PM

Yeah I could do breakfast as well, and I'll probably stick around to check out the gun show also.

Holsteinman Feb 5, 2008 09:15 PM

I would like to meet for breakfast, but not sure if I will make it. I will be working early in the morning and won't get to sleep till about 4am. If I get up in time for breakfast I won't get much sleep.
