another dumb question can anyone tell me why my front pumpkin is located on the left side of the axle when all the other 1st gen trucks i see have theirs located on the right side. i cant figure it out. thanks in advance.

Looking for help.new to the site. I have a 1st gen 90 w150 power ram with the 318. It has anti loc light on as well as break light on on dash. Spongy break pedal. Checked fuse good replaced sensor in rear axle. And checked break fluid. Good any help would be great also could not get it to go into 4wd that light on dash did not come on when shifted into 4wd. I put manual locking hubs on it several years ago. The last time i used 4wd it worked fine. That was last winter. I live on the east coast and foud out s the hard way that it wasnt working when we got 30 inches of snow and i went to use it to get to work. Thanks
