stage 1 of the project, started about 1 today and closed up shop around 5 working by myself. sunday im going to put the lowering kit on, and maybe the new rear.

i added one more pic to my second post, u can see my leaf springs are the same as a 1 ton. got to love the camper package. i dont know about mpg any more. im shooting for 500-550 twin turbo daily tow rig. i guess if i keep my foot out of it and change the rear gears from 4.10's to 3.73 i might get a lil something

yes. i wanted to do a sweet burnout with the bed off but he talked me out of it. if you need any parts, pm me. i also have a 40 gal parts washer

 

got some more done to day, got the driver side leaf spring and brackets off and installed the new lowering brackets. tomorrow im taking the passenger side off, installing the new rear,installing the front spacer. hopefully swap the tires on to my new rims.

 

if you need to weld anything thick let me know... i have that 260amp esab at my house.

 

heres a few mor epics. got the rear drop kit in along with the new rear. my g/f is about 5'10 so you can see how far it dropped down. take a look at the 6" c-clamp that broke. it was holding the springs together and almost shatter my knee when it let loose. it must have had a small crack (always check your tools). right now the rear is lowering than the stock front end
