oooohhh...look what i am getting made for my truck
A solid aluminum stack clamp 1" thick all machined on a 3-axis CNC
I sent my buddy a 2d CAD file of the design with dimensions, and he turned it into a 3d model and gave it to his buddy with the CNC machine. This 5,6,7" versions http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1197/3804/221003.jpg |
Very nice, Ill PM an address for one 5" and one 6" clamp!

Looks like solid works
Do the cap screws screw in the middle section or into the small rectagular end piece. |
not for sale
somebody already makes something similar and i didnt like his price, so i made my own with the help of some friends, but i will not compete with him and mass produce these. |

Yeah, trying to get a screw and wrench behind the bed rail is a pain.

Catia, thats pretty sweet.
I can't wait to see them on your truck. You sould get something engraved on them. That would be pretty slick. |

Catia V5, thats all he uses
he designed this too using catia v5 http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1197/7286/217219.jpg A dewalt generator that starts using an 18v battery pack from any dewalt tool...will start 200 times on one charge at 30* |
Well since Desault owns both Catia and Solidworks, they are very similar.
Hey TJ, Anodized would look pretty cool, and not require cleaning. |
