This was the first time I've driven it in 2 weeks. So I'm sure the combination of Not driving it, lack of diesel treatment and water screwed me.

I'm trying to find some diesel 911.

I got in my truck at about 10pm last night and cycled the plugs once and it fired right up. It had been sitting at the airport outside all week. I was impressed. On the bad side, I was half way home before the heater was warm

Did you put sealant on bolts??? If they go into a water passage they need sealant on them.[duhhh][duhhh]

Well got board today. Got to love when a family member has a cutting machine for crafts. It can cut vinyl, fabric, rubber, paper. I have a couple of ideas for vinyls for the truck.

mine has sat since last sunday- staurdayit the first time in a week saturday when it was 15 out. started fine, didnt crank right away bit it cranked over. i used power service or whatever the stuff is in the silver bottle at autozone. like a 3rd of the bottle per tank. when i topped her off saturday night i poured the rest the bottle in her. she should be fine.

Ok guys, I am not going to be building the motor anytime soon so I am going to sell all the parts that I have. If you are after anything let me know via PM and I will get back with you. I have several brand new parts as well as a bunch of used parts.

Hey. Travis just to let you know i made the housing fit. All it needed was longer bolts. Looked at my housing and there is a big crack from the outside to the inside. So thats no good.
Now my temp is stayin right around 180-190

Hey scott since noone is doing anything in that nice garage you got up there would you mind if i brought up my parts truck and start taking it apart? I need to pull the tranny first. ill provide the lift fee and beer someone else can bring food. this isnt something that we have to put back together. LOL

crabbelle 01-20-2009 07:49 PM

also scott i still have that 35-40 rebuilt kit if you pull your turbo apart. you can have it as the lift fee for above

scottsjeeprolet 01-21-2009 07:04 AM

Bobby what are your plans? You can use the bay for the day but no longer. Don't wanna tie it up. T.J is bringing his truck over Friday or Sat so we can start on the P-pump conversion.
So did anyone else get snow the other day? This is what we got.
