Maryland chapter question

Do you guys hang out anywhere, like the car guys do.I have an 04.5 and was looking to get some pointers on what to do to my truck to get it to tow better and increase fuel mileage.I have an MBRP turbo back exhaust, an AFE coldair setup and a FASS lift pump on it already.I want to do more to it , plus its fun working on this stuff. How do become a member to your chapter. I live in dundalk.

my truck

I want to get a programer again just don`t know which one, had a bully dog power pup it worked good, but I was afraid of killing my tranny.I just hit 11500 and I don`t know how much the tranny will take.I am a stickler for ,maint. I change the engine oil every 5000, trans every 15000 and diffs every 30000.I want to keep this truck as long as I can.Plus I keep my EGT under 1200 when towing, but I tow my 30ft. toy hauler 80 to 85 mph so I can build momentum to get up mountains fast on I70 LOL.

My truck is built to tow and it does great. I have a manual, so I upgraded the clutch, have head studs, valve springs, 90hp injectors, twin turbo's (stock over S475), air dog, Smarty, TST, 30% over CP3. Last time I spun the rollers it made 575 without the larger CP3 and I was out of fuel for sure. I towed a friends pulling truck up that day and back, just changed the Smarty tune from 5 to 9 for the dyno then back to 5 for the ride home. With the twins you barely know the trailer is behind you and never have an EGT issue.

I suggest an upgraded VB and TC for your trans, then an Edge with gauges and a mileage and towing tune. Even with that few on modifications twins would work great for you, build your own set though, no reason to spend the money for a pre-built set that you would have to modify anyway.
