Newbie from S.E. Pennsylvania
Hello my name is Jason from S.E. Pennsylvania. Current ride is a 2006 CTD quad cab longbed. Bone stock (for now ) i ahve already ordered the parts to make my own *****`S style CAI with an amsoil filter. I am currently also looking to put an MBPR 4" cat back system & probably do a cat delete pipe with a 5" tip. This is my first diesel truck and i cant seem to get enough of it ..its everything & more than i thought the world of diesel power would be. I hope to talk with a few of you in the near future. Thanks for your time.

Hello from N.W. PA...
Welcome to the DTR!
Don't spend your money on a 4" exhaust...it's already 4"s.
The muffler is the restrictive part...
You can buy a muffler delete relatively cheap in the DTR store and save your money for other goodies.

Thanks guys... i`m located 45 min. west of PHILLY. I will set up my signature today. This is my first Diesel & its a daily driver so i`m looking to keep it reliable and keep fuel economy. I took my slincer ring off yesterday, my parts should be in this week to do the CAI changeover. What muffler do you guys suggest?

The delete pipe replaces the muffler, not the cat...
If you want to kick the kitty to the curb, a piece of 4" pipe could be spliced in it's place.
I don't know if the muffler eliminator can be put in place of the cat or not.
I guess it depends on how loud you want it to be.
