new guy from WI

just introducing myself, my name is Kade and picked up my new winter beater / daily driver yesterday...a 2003 Ram 2500 Sport 4x4 6-speed. here are a few pics of it. dont know much about these trucks, so feel free to fill me in on some stuff. maybe if there are a few "free mods" that can be done. not looking to push huge power since its just a daily driver.

Nice truck welcome. There isn't much for free mods for the 3rd gen trucks. You can gut the intake tube ("torque tube"), DIY CP3 mod, I'm currently testing out my adjustment to the non-adjustable waste gate actuator. So far that one is going well.

What part of WI are you from?

i see that intake tube has those things in there, i had assumed that was there to direct the air or something, so i didnt mess w/ it when i removed the silencer ring.

will the CP3 mod net any gains with an otherwise stock truck?

and im from wausau

no wisconsin chapter

a friend of mine has quite a few 12V cummins trucks, my grandpa has a 01 cummins and a 08 cummins, and my dad had a '04 6.0L ford and now has a '08 6.4L ford...so they kind of got me into the whole diesel thing
