Cool My First Cummins ever!!!

Hello to all on DTR, I have owned my "new" 06 2500 4x4, currently 41,500 miles, for the past 4 months now. I have been reading and trying to learn about the care and maintenance of a cummins here on the forums. I converted from an 01 Ram 1500 4x4 and became very familiar with any repair that was needed. However I need help/assistance on the fuel filter and "needing to drain the water" from the fuel filter. With that said, how is this done and how often is it needed. Pics would be a GREAT help if possible. Thanks to all and lovin the cummins experience, even though I spent an hour today replacing my water pump, but hey its my first wrench job on it!
