Not too bad. Moved to get out of the snow and because electrical engineering jobs in Erie are scarce (didn't want to work for GE). Have to put up with the excessive heat and lots of folks in the DFW area.
Visit my folks in Girard about twice a year. I miss the area, could see myself moving back someday. Really miss the peninsula and being able to be at the beach in 20 minutes.

Ixnay on the seafood, can't stand it.

That's funny, 'cuz most other people around here spend years trying to get into GE.
This area has gotten a little better in the past few years, though a lot of things seemed to have closed in Girard the last time I was out that way. Especially the car lots on 20.

Talked to a lot of folks who said GE tends to burn their engineers out pretty fast. The shop floor is a different story though. I was a co-op there for a semeseter. Got to spend most of my time on the shop floor or out on the test track, was really cool seeing the locomotives being built.

Yeah, Lockwood Dodge closed, not sure what else closed. When we moved out there 33 years ago, it seemed like the boondocks (we moved from 26th, between Raspberry and Cascade). Now, it's too close to Erie. They have put tons of lights up on route 20 and too many folks moving out there.

Gary Miller closed too. Seems like a couple other stores in that area closed as well. Just seemed really empty when I passed through there several weeks ago.
I guess PowerHouse Automotive out there has a dyno though.
I grew up in Harborcreek, and when I go out there now I can barely recognize the place. It's getting just as built up as the city is, used to be the boondocks like Girard was 20 years ago.

Wow, usually don't see many other guys from around here on the web. I'm out in Greene twp near Off Road Express.
I go over to Ashtabula a couple times a year for their dyno day. http://www.tidyno.com/

Not far from you at all. We take the dogs out to Siegel Marsh to swim and run around from time to time.
Would like to hit up some dyno's when I can add some more power to my truck in the near future. Getting ready to sell the house so I gotta focus on that right now.
My grandparents lived on Barton Rd. for years. Spent every summer out there growing up.

Its a 99 2500 fully loaded. trans has HD clutch packs and valve housings as well as an aftermarket torque converter (forgot the name but its a good one) total $3000. edge ez i think a fass fuel pump aftermarket air intake and 175hp injectors and piller gauges. there some other stuff i forgot but thats the main bit. i did have a brake line that had a bad spot in it blow last night.... had it home for 24hours lol. and it was the one infront of the rear axel thats stuck up between the fuel tank and frame... cant get to it at all and i have to get to class tomorrow. i love this truck its so much better than my little toyota. O and it has a new 4inch turbo back exhaust. i cannot believe how good this truck sounds. youtube vids just dont so these things justice.
