alright, outta the blue today, as I would slow down for a stop sign or red light, my truck would still pull and pull, almost like doing a brakestand. If I hit the go pedal when it was doing this, nothing. No response, no revving, nothing. If I put it in park, the rpm's would briefly hit 1500 or so, then idle perfectly fine. Once back in drive, tranny seems to already be in 2nd or 3rd gear. Tricky thing is, it doesn't do it all the time. I could slam the gear lever up and down, up and down, tap the brakes, then it would straighten itself out. I took it out on the highway, no problem at all. 120 km/hr, 1900 rpms in top gear. Only one code came up, p0483 or something, cooling fan rpm's. I just had my tranny rebuilt about 6 weeks ago... and I know they put mobil1 in there, which is not an atf+4...plus, on and off as well, if i'd leave it in tow/haul, then turn the truck off, sometimes it would still be in tow/haul as soon as i turn it on again. unusual, because for the past 2 years, if i'd turn the truck off then back on, i'd have to activate the tow/haul... anybody have any ideas as to what this could be? Of course varsity told me it was probably an injector, but at 1200$ each of course, eh? Plus today I idled up a hill with my 14 footer fully loaded... 10000 lbs, literally IDLED up this hill in an alley... this is weird because other than that my truck runs great, and seems more powerful...
