Veg oil problem
I was running on my newly installed veg oil system and I think I got some water contamination. Truck started blowing out white smoke and missing. Changed fuel filter(aftermarket NAPA). Metal on interior was rusty. Installed new filter and now engine will not idle. Runs down highway fine but misses a little. Idle settles out at 500 rpm and dies. I have eliminated any veg oil from entering lift pump, installed another new filter and installed an electric fuel pump to ensure it getting fuel.
Is there something else I should check to be cleaned. Injectors, prefilter screen, another screen somewhere I don't know about?
Thanks for any help.

sorry to hear of your probs, but I made a TON of money off of the alternative fuel crowd back in 08 when the prices went up. Pumps, injectors, fuel level units....and on, and on....

I did a 2 tank conversion on a 1981 rabbit and 1985 Benz 300TD. When running on veg the idle was lower especally the rabbit. I remember having to crank in the idle stop. Not many people mention that but I think it happens to every car and truck running straight veg.
