Thanks

Plenty of information.
All I'm doing in changing the diff covers front and rear with new oasis covers.
Am also changing to a new mag hytec tranny pan. Is the specs for the tranny approximately 10' lbs. on those bolts?
Actually, just saw the tranny info as well.

Diff: 30 ft lbs. on bolts
24 ft lbs. for fill and drain plug

Tranny: 10-15 on bolts.
Drain plug?

Thanks for all of your help. I really need to get this done and was struggling to find this information out. I really appreciate your help Mark.

Thanks. Chris

Oh by the way here's a link you can buy the complete service manual from. You will need cable to download it though. It's over 200meg's. It's only 20 bucks for the PDF file.

A few people have broken dif cover bolts using a torque wrench set at 30.

I broke one on my 2nd change. Anyhow, I'd suggest going a little less than specified, or having a couple spare bolts and an extractor on hand, just in case.
