Throwing codes with Edge Attitude
Yesterday I was hooking up my motorcycle trailer and noticed the trailer lights were not working. So I decided to check the fuses, sure enough I had a blown trailer running lamp. In the process of changing the fuse I some how disconnected the 10amp transmission relay fuse that my Edge Juice is tapped to. Without noticing I did this I drove about 20 feet and noticed the engine light was on. I amediatly checked for codes and the ecm is throwing about 15 codes. I noticed that the Attitude was not on so right back to the fuse box I go. I then noticed that transmission relay and Edge were disconnected. I plugged everything back up however the codes are still there and the engine light went off but not right away. The codes were not there in the morning because I have been checking every morning as a precaution since I just installed the Edge a few days ago. I'm sure the reason for the codes is because of the transmision relay fuse being pulled however the codes will not go away. The truck is running great, do I need to worry?
Actually, you can just go to AutoZone and they can clear the codes for you for free I think. I was referring to the CEL clearing itself. I'm not sure how long the codes will remain in the computer's memory....

IF I do have to take it back to the dealer I will have to take everything off. However I cant take off the EGT probe. Will that alone viod my warranty?

That must be on the newer ones, cause mine does not do that...
I would not be worried about the codes. Let autozone clear them, then check the next day to see if any of them have came up. My vote is no, but better safe than sorry.
