starter dead?

starter dead?

I have brand new batteries and I was tryin to get my truck to start, it started for a second and died tryed to restart and all I get is "click" from the starter.. Replace the whole starter? Or could i put one of those kits in it?

Kit is the easiest thing to do. Or you can take it somwhere to have it rebuilt. Very easy to do either way. Contacts in the solenoid is all that is probably wrong with it.

well i guess i'll try the kit would a contact kit from oreilly work?
