sirius install help
 

have the truck apart still. ok, i just attatched the sirius kit to my rb4 and it is working but the uconnect feature does not. do u know if these 2 can work together? ihad to unplug the connection i guess to the uconnect to plug in the sirius. i didnt see any other empty outlets on the back of the radio.

talked to dodge, they are currently working on a y addapter so i can use both the uconnect phone sys with the sirius so for now i have to pick one until they can fix the prob.

I have no idea what these things are that you speak of (except for the Sirius), but it all sounds like a lot of fun! :D

must be some fancy '05 dodge lingo....[laugh] ..sounds rather "sirious"

I would go with the sirius.I just installed mine in my rb4 also,I like a nice clean dash. Bummer about no scroll titles,but I think I read somewhere they were working on it. I

the u-connect is great. it allows u to make phone calls and recieve them with a push of the button on the rearview mirror. Pam, who i named her, (pam the ram:D ), has a great voice. she asks who u want to call and dial your phone for u and it uses your truck speakers. everyone i talk to says it doesnt even sound like im on a speaker phone and that its real clear. u do have to have a bluetooth compatable phone though. and it is all wireless. i just keep my phone in my pocket , push the button, and say "call roger" or whoever and thats it. its great for those of us who like to listen to the radio loud. the radio will mute and Pam will tell me i have a incoming call and to push the button to answer. the phone number will display on the radio. thats y i have a hard time deciding [eyecrazy] .
