Unless you have the Commander, it starts right off the bat, IIRC.

The new harness has temp control with the pod that came with the up grade.

The control pod is different than the commander with the pod its on as soon as you start your truck its just a switch that doubles as a readout for a few engine parameters.

then what does the tepm control feature do.It is supposed to work with the pod upgrade too.

As far as I know only the commander does that the pod is just a read out and switch for power levels
