Problem Fixed!!! Re: Air in Fuel lines

All you Folks are TOP SHELF. ;D Thanks to everyone who pitched in on this one. You saved me this weeks grocery money. The final result was the air in the injector pump. I had tried bleeding the air by loosening the line nut at the head, like Stamey told me to, but for quite a few tries it didn't work.
Finally I decided to loosen the nut all the way and break the line loose from the injector. That is all it took, she fired right up. For future reference this was the # 1 cyclinder line.
I know I will be very cautious the next time I change the fuel filter!!!
Everyone have a great day. [laugh] Thanks, Chuck

Glad to see ya got it going Chuck.
One thing that I do when I change filters, is pre-fill the canister with the new filter in it before reassembling. Then I turn the key on (without engaging the starter) until I hear the lift pump stop, turn the key off, and then back on and start it. So far, I have not had any trouble starting the truck after a filter change.

Note: It will also help folks help you, if you fill in your signature with the specs on your truck. You can do this by clicking on the Profile button and scrolling down to where it says signature. Type in your truck specs and then click the Change Profile button.
