Pretty serious fuel leak fuel leak

I have fuel spray under my hood towards the back of my engine. I replaced the #06 fuel line under the advise of a local diesel mechanic, but there is still spray to wet the engine bay. I am stuck in a lot and afraid to go any further because some of the fuel is getting to the turbo, and I really don't want a "well done Ram"!

Since I replaced the #06 line and still have the leak, what is possibly the source of the leak? I am stuck in the rain and I am trying to avoiding getting a huge tow and repair bill?

Sir, I would take off the #6 line and make sure that fuel is not coming from the connector tube which goes down to the injector. There are "o-rings" around those tubes and sometimes they get cracks or cuts on them and will leak.

Also, check your #4 fuel line also. I had alot of trouble with that line on my 2006.

Thank you for the reply. To get to those, do I go through the top of the engine or to the side where the fuel line connects? I replaced my injectors in 2007 and I don't remember.

Those connector tubes are right under the injection lines on the DRIVERS side of the engine, NOT thorugh the top or valve cover of the engine. There are threads on top of the connector tubes and the injection line screws down onto the tubes. You have a nut that holds the connector tube in place. That nut needs to be re-torqued to 42 inch pounds after you check the connector tube and then push it back into it's "hole/slot."

Again, let me stress to you that you THOROUGHLY check your #4 injection line BEFORE pulling those connector tubes. I would unscrew or take off the injector line on the #4 injector and look real close at the line where it fits into the connector tube. That is where mine cracked badly.
