Poor cooling A/C

My A/C just don't seem to be cutting it like it used to. ???<br>Not coolong off as fast as it did/ max fan not blowing as hard as it should.<br>?????? Is there any kind of a filter that could be clogged with dirt.<br>Still gets cool just takes a long time 10 + or - min.<br><br>Help!!!!! <br>Any Ideas<br><br>

Just a question...<br>Is your horn working?<br>No kidding, a couple of years ago, my AC stopped putting out really cool air. Simultaneously (unbeknownst to me) my horn stopped working. It turns out on my truck (97) the AC motor and the horn are on the same circuit. The fuse was blown!

roll down ur windows <br><br>sorry, I know how you feel. Sounds like it needs charged. autozone sells kits for $60-70.

Sounds like you could be a little low on R134. I guess you can buy a kit to fill it, but it is safer to have someone with gauges check it out to see if it really is low.<br>I don't remember if you need a MACS license to buy R134.<br><br>Chris

Anyone can buy R134 at almost any auto parts store as well as Wal-Mart, etc. About $16/can (12 oz.?) Install tube about $8. I just recharged the wifes T 100.<br><br>Stan

Thanks guys ;D ;D ;D<br>I bought a guage and checked it,<br>The guage read 24#, and the instructions said 24# is the min. that is ok. :'(<br>So I bought a can of max cool ( dye,cleaner,sealer,Blah blah)<br>Took it to about 47 # <br>Thats just short of the max ok range on the guage :P<br><br>Now its blowing 38* air from the vents
