Hey all,
Hopefully you can help me. I have a 99 2500. Recently the "Check Gauges" light started coming on and my oil gauge says I'm on empty. I checked the oil and I have plenty. sometimes the light goes on and off and I get a reading as well. Tonight I noticed a different smell coming from my exhaust and now I'm worried.

Any ideas what's going on? I originally thought no big deal- I got oil- everything seems to be working fine- but after noticing that smell (kind of a burning smell.)

When I pop the hood nothing seems abnormal- and there isn't an abnormal smell under the hood...
