New fuel and lift pump, lackluster performance

I had the injector and lift pump replaced by the local dealer (still under Cummins warranty) with your help (thanks for the help!). All issues have been resolved except--the original 'zip' is gone and my fuel mileage has suffered. Other posts I have read talked about noticeable improvements after this replacement.
Where is the HO difference made up on the CTD--is it just injectors, just in the injector pump, injectors and injector pump, is it not part of the fuel system and is an engine design feature? I guess my real question is, can a non-HO pump be installed on the HO engine, and how can I visually verify that?
No codes thrown since dealer work...

Just wanted to clarify--my 'original stock' performance is gone.

Well, the performance will probably be lackluster. You can actually feel a noticable difference in power?

Im no expert and some may disagree, but the new intank pump is marginal - there are much better options available from the aftermarket. There is weeks of reading on fuel system upgrades here. Do yourself a favor and put guages on your truck - at the very least a fuel pressure gauge. (assuming you dont have guages already).

You can get that power back by throwing a set of bigger injectors in, or maybe an EDGE EZ or other mild fuel box.

The following are the HO pump improvements (as they were advertised by Dodge):

- Electronic Controls: New ECM calibration and fueling algorithms.
- Fuel Pump: Increased fuel flow in the Bosch VP44 injection pump.
- Injectors: Designed to provide increased fuel flow.

o ETH injectors (3946306) flow 600cc at 100bars for 30 seconds
o ETC injectors (3944828) flow 640cc at the same test.

- Turbocharger: Revised wastegate setting for 26psi at the turbocharger outlet.
- Manifold boost specification is 43.5 inches Hg / 21 psi
- Head: Valve seat inserts for added durability.
- Pistons: New pistons with higher 17:1 compression ratio.
- Flywheel: New flywheel with 330 mm diameter clutch (vs. std. 310 mm).

Maybe they put the SO pump on your HO truck? It would not hurt to check fuel pressure to see what you are getting to the injector pump.

Is there a visual way to check if new IP is SO or HO?
