Minor knocking sound in 02 5.9 cummins
I have an 02 dodge cummins 5.9l and it has a small knocking noise at idle and low rpm and seems to go away as motor gets reved up. What are some things to look into I believe it's minor thanks!!

Air in the fuel syst. could cause it. Does it seem to be missing?

my truck does the same thing, once i installed a fuel pressure guage in my truck i found out why.
my lift pump was pulsating just ever so slightly. and that was enough to cause it to idle rough
