Hey folks,
We have a new member (Al Jachcik) that is looking for some info on an accelerator problem and I figure one of you may have delt with this before.
Here is the PM he sent me:

Problem : Accelerator pedal at first was totally unresponsive while in cruise control mode after a undetermined period of time .In order to clear this problem, truck had to be downshifted ( manual trans.) Now the pedal is unresponsive at various times (not often) while not in cruise mode. I believe problem is in the apps which is part of the bell crank assy. Can anyone verify this ? Similiar issue with their truck? Would like to know before I spent $450 on new assy.

Once you get the solution to your problem, please post your findings. I try to put all the stuff I read in my personal memory bank,,,,,,,,,,,,, however,,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm begining to think I'm way overdrawn! :

 

I sent him a pm last night as I have had an apps problem going on for several months now. It's not to the point where I am going to spend the $$$ to get a new one but I may try a reflash. There is some other threads on here with a wealth of info on this subject.
