Map Sensor

Where is the Map sensor for the 2003 Dodge ram HO Turbo Diesel.

should be on top of the intake manifold. Held in by two screws

How do you know if the map sensor is bad

I've only seen one thread about the topic.

If I recall correctly the guy got an error code that indicated the signal from the sensor was out of bounds or something...

I think he changed the sensor with no change, and the dealer said that a box or programmer or something voided the warranty and that the computer was damaged.

There was another thread about whether or not they needed cleaning. Rather than guess, I pulled mine and saw that it was spotless (hence I had the photo on hand).

What kind of problem are you having?
