Low Rail Fuel Pressure Trouble Code
I can't clear it. The fuel filter is clean and the engine is running smooth through idle to 2200 rpm, no rattling or noise from the lift pump.
It's a 2006 Dodge 2500 4WD. I'm on vacation and no dealer or diesel mechanic is near. It could be the fuel rail sensor.
Any help you can give me, please do.
Thanks!

What is the Rail Pressure, most of the middle of the road scanners will read it. I think that rail pressure sensor is a little expensive to guess with. I found one for 213.98 on partsgeek.com. Do you know what your EGTs are?

My scanner won't read it or reset the error code. just got back from the parts store and they reset the DTC for me. It's still off.
I have no idea of why my scanner wouldn't read it but theirs did.
What else bothers me is it didn't reset with the key being off and on numerous times.
Screwy!
