Lightn' strike!
Had a real bad thunderstorm come thru...I'm almost sure that my 1999 dodge 3500 took a hit...gauges all over the place and top speed in 5th gear is 45 mph. I have disconnected the batteries in attempt to reset the computer, but it isn't helping. Is there something else I should try?
Please HELP!

If you took a direct hit it is likely all your computers are fried. Try disconnecting your batteries and then turning on the light switch to kill the charges that remain in the air bag capacitors. Go have a cold one while you let it just set there and discharge any residual charge.
After about 15 minutes reconnect everything and then start the rig. Let it run about 20 minutes, then if it is not performing and no error codes are popping up, you likely have the PCM, the ECM, and the VP44 all in need of replacement but will not know until you have a dealer or Cummins install a bypass computer connection and look for problems.
