Lift pump

I just purchased a lift pump from the cummins dealer.I'm just not sure if it is the right one.The part number is 3928143 it says pump.fuel transfe.Ihave a 98 24v. thanks dave

Dave, I think that is correct for your year model truck since the hook-up is at the bottom of the pump instead of on a cannon plug like the 2000's on up. Should look like a electrical fuel pump with a two wire connection on the bottom and 3 bolts on the top to mount it. It has an IN and OUT located on the top of pump on both sides.
