Ok I installed some 120 HP nozzles on my 05 last night. Got it all put back together and got it started and its running really really rough and kind of seeping thick black smoke slowly at idle.

Plugged the smarty in and its only throwing one code. #6 Injector Circuit. I think its due to me breaking one of the wire terminals on the top of the injector closest to the intercooler. I screwed it on to it upside down but I'm about to try to rewire it. Wondering if its possible to just replace the wire terminals on top of the injector or if you have to buy a whole new injector body? Also since its idling so rough I was wondering what to check to clear that up. thanks for your help

 

I think you have to buy a new injector . Not to sure if Don M or DDP or II can fix that. I know that was one thing i was warned by my buddy as when he installed his nozzels he broke one and had to buy a whole new injector and body.

And as for the rough idle. Not to sure but mine did that too with my edge nozzels and after driving it for a few hundred KM it was fine. I think that the truck just has to get used to it.

 

Injector closest to intercooler would be #1 (way up front). #6 is way in the back.
